Building Information
If your project is 300 ft or closer to water you will need to contact Marinette County Zoning Department for a zoning Permit.
If You are building Garage; storage; deck, you can obtain a Building permit from the Clerk at the Town hall or fill out a application on the web site at townofbeaver.org. The clerk can be reached at (920) 619-9598 or make arrangements for that, you can use the mail. If you prefer mail, please send a check for $30.00 payable to the Town of Beaver, W8405 County Rd P, Crivitz, WI 54114. Along with the check I will need info such as 1) description of project; 2) your home address and phone number; 3) property location in the Town of Beaver. Once approved I will mail permit to you to display for your project.
If you are building a cottage/home/addition to preexisting home, or making a existing building (like garage) into a dwelling unit, you will need to get a permit from the town as well as Nature’s Edge Inspection Agency – Jane Meissner:

Jane will let you know all info needed for building a cottage/home/addition to preexisting home in The Town of Beaver.
The Town of Beaver prohibits manufactured or mobile homes in excess of 20 years of age (unless approved by the town board) to be set in the Town of Beaver.
You can request a variance for a older mobile home, lot size, or dwelling size, from the Town Board, you would need to attend the town monthly meeting (2nd Monday of Month)
